Writing 2017.

I am currently writing a book on IBS from the perspective of the patient, explaining how the things that happen in a person’s life and the existential issues that they raise can be expressed in gut symptoms and suggesting a more integrated strategy of management.

Scotland February/March

Joan and I rented an eco-house for a month overlooking the Sound of Harris.  This was a writing retreat for me and an opportunity for Joan to explore and photograph the landscape and culture.  This was followed by a commission for Joan to accompany Susan Lowe to interview and photograph the winners of the Delicious Magazine Produce Awards, which included Great Glen Venison Salami, The Ethical Shellfish Company and Campsie Glen Fish Charcuterie.  I drove, held equipment and took advantage of wild swimming opportunities.
